Hi, haven't been on here in awhile because anytime something tried to grab me and take me away from life I would read Sarno or others and be back on track.

Last 6 months has been extremely stressful with a big move two states away. First getting house ready to sell, then good or not it sold in one week which left us scrambling to find new place.

Because we have two indoor cats and didnt want a year lease couldnt find rental in our new small town area, so rented 3 airbnb's a month a piece with our stuff in storage while we drove back and forth 3 hours.

We found and bought home but with painting to do and husband insisting he did it but in his time. So meanwhile beds on floor, bookshelves not built, etc. i feel out of control.

My husband who cant handle stress (even though it was his idea to move) has been angry and creating tons more stress for me.

I started going to counselor a month ago that helps but lately having back pain again and sometimes it wraps around my middle.

I know its mind body from all the stress around here, but the fears and thoughts in my head are driving me crazy! I moved to a area where doctors are hard to get so clinic only for now. I was lucky to meet someone who got me appt end of month with a nurse practioner who believes in mind body.

I guess I just want to know how can I turn the fear thoughts off?

Is your husband going to counseling with you?

No, he has gone a few times over the years and refuses to go but in the positive side he is going to the new nurse practitioner that believes in mind body and I glanced at the long forms we filled out about all physical and mental stuff and he did admit on forms to having anger issues, emotional stuff bugging him from past, etc.

So I think that was his was of reaching out to her to help, from everything I have heard this place is rare into really helping you not just 5 min out the door. Our first visit is one hour a piece and we pay extra for that.

So I imagine she will talk to him about it and I hope maybe he will listen to her about getting some help.

We have been together 16 years but last few since his daughter got married and ex shamed him at wedding have been tough for him. He wants to vent to his daughter about ex but she won't let him, very close to mom. He blames himself for pretending to like ex and did everything she wanted whole time they raised daughter while divorced. He did it for daughter but I told him he can't go back now and say a bunch of stuff she doesn't want to hear.

I tried to talk him into writing a letter to daughter saying all he wants to say but not sending it.

Forgot to say I decided not to let the off and on pain affect my life and we went out to hear cool band last night and I danced all night no pain!

And just some shoulder pain but not bad today. Going for long walk soon, rare sun day here at the coast where it has been raining all week and is suppose to next 5 days.
