Hi,
My back TMS has definitely responded to my reading, my posting here and to all my effort at thwarting it because I am feeling better. In addition to re-establishing all the same thoughts and techniques to thwart the TMS on the run, are there any tips anyone can lend, because it has found another part of my body to reside in and it is resisting leaving, despite all my efforts. It's deposited itself into another area for the past month or so and I'm having a hard time. I know, I know, I'm new at this. I realize it. And I still have an appt. with Dr. Martinez end of April. I just want to know if anyone can help me in the meantime to deal. Thanks.

Hi Maryalma8,

Now that you are making progress, keep up the reading of MBP and all the other TMS work. Its hard to be patient especially if you have been hurting for a long time, and you are anxious to be 100% pain free. Some people get there faster than others, in my case its taken quite a while.

Just try your very hardest to stay busy with the daily tasks at hand, keeping busy is a good way to distract your brain from obsessing about things that cause your TMS pain. As Dave says, managing your TMS is a lifelong process, so don't expect too much too soon. We are all behind you 100%.

Take care, -Stryder
