Second major battle with tms, done.
**Sure I can lay down on a bed of nails and not have pain but why am I having back pain when laying down on a soft mattress? |

Bravo, ILAN! What was the deal with coffee and alcohol? Were they conditioning triggers? I do enjoy a good Old Fashioned cocktail with my GF, and it'd be tough to give that up.

I think coffee and booze suppress your thoughts and emotions.
In my case I used them as an escape, the coffee made me happy and forget about my problems.
When I have a lot of coffee I get pains like yesterday but like my tms in the past it eventually fades away with time. I haven't gotten chest or rib pains anymore from coffee.
Thank god I saw Sarno.

Hey ice. Why don't you write about how you got better this time? It seems many people come here for help, but once they are better, they rarely stick around to help others. I think if we left this kind of climate, it would ultimately be of help bc a sufferer may resonate with one explanation over another (like maybe yours over mine etc). |

Ace, I am planning on sticking to this board just not everyday like before.
I made so many posts that to summarize everything in one would be bad because there are little nuances and tricks that I forgot about even if it was last month. I made sure to document all my thoughts and "ahhaaa" moments on here so I would not forget what I accomplished.
It took some different trial and error this time but luckily it lasted 10 months and not 3 years like before.
I am always up for helping newbies with this topic because I am a Sarno alum. Haha
