Wow, Jaya, that's an horrendous amount to get through. This stuff happens to all of us, eventually, but not ordinarily at age 30. Centuries ago, yes, but these days it's unusual. Not surprising you are having a huge reaction. I think illness or death is often harder to take in someone you love than if it happens to yourself.

Recently I was reading this site:
http://www.womentowomen.com/digestive-health/acid-reflux-whats-eating-you/
which is about acid reflux in women but what the heck. The gist is "your body is burning to tell you something" and you'd better listen. Candace Pert has said the body IS the subconscious mind. That fits in with the TMS idea that the (conscious) mind perceives/creates pain as it attempts to block whatever is trying to surface.

Many people here say you don't have to know what's bothering you to heal from TMS. That may well be true if you can accept whatever it is without identifying it.
Acceptance is the key. What is, is. We don't have to like it. Fear and rage are natural but they are also, at bottom, a choice.

Easier said than done but I think that's the direction we need to go.

Hi jaya, I really think that when you free yourself from tms, which is really a process of practice, you are not only reversing your patterns but patterns of generations of your own family. These were passed down unconsciously and through genes. I believe in the law of attraction too and in God where when you accept the situation and recognize your changing your patterns and this will eventually lead to good things in the future, that it will come true. Jesus once said if you have faith as much as a mustard seed, you can move a mountain. I think that this is where this type of faith applies. I hope this helps to give you hope for change in the future.
