These are legitimate questions. I think that we have to put self-interest above the search for truth. The result is complete loss of faith that truth even exists. Which leads to despair. Which leads, in most cases, to ever more frantic self-interest. The fact that you still give a rat's behind about pain, native americans, and what it's all about is actually a very good sign. i'm impressed.
Kindly delete the "to" in the sentence "I think that we have to put self-interest above the search for truth" if you want to make sense out of what I just wrote.
