May I devote this thread to those who need help, love and faith.

I shall cross both worlds and post at both help and wiki that it may reach the most.

Here may we open a window to blessings, a quiet threshold for those times in life when we or our loved ones or our people need warmth, healing and protection.

May those who believe hold them dear. May those who pray shelter the hurting.

I dedicate this thread to my dear friend Eric whose light illuminates the darkness of suffering.

This night I pray for my mother-in-law who fell today and is mercifully only bruised but still so very vulnerable.

... my sister who is sick with stress ... and her husband who is in hospital.

(thanks, Plum).

Great post, thanks for your kindness
I agree with that prayer, I agree that
your mother-in- law is healed.
There's only once in a while that we get
noticed gifts, you are noticed.
Your whispers are striking with prophesy
freedom is your gift- pass the power to others,
We all don't hold castles in our words of talent and wisdom.
Your words are enchantment no matter whom you write-
in a still small voice, you whisper echoes.
Thanks again for your strength and hope.
That's how mountains move.

And I pray for my sister who has given up on life and decided that light is just a cruel joke as darkness closes in. It's so sad and I don't know how to help her. Must remind myself that everyone's path is their own. Nothing changes unless if we are open to change. Opening is a choice we make for ourselves.

Yah, yah, yah. Maybe I can kidnap her? Send her money? Bonk her head? No, praying is going to have to do, for now.

Thanks for the thread, dear Plum.

I don't pray in the religious sense, but would like to send you my hope and compassion.

I studied Reiki, and took a workshop with a group of Catholic nuns.
The lady in charge, Sister Eileen Curteis, offered for everyone to do
a prayer for some one in pain or grief. Everyone wrote their names on a piece of paper, and put the names in a box. My wife was looking after twin boys, 1 year old, that were taken from their mother temporarily. They were both supposed to have surgery for an abdominal defect. 3 months later, the abdominal defect was no longer there. We each said a few words about who our prayers were for, and I am sure the prayers of these women affected the boys healing. The doctor said it must have been a misdiagnosis. I was deeply moved by the experience. I am not a religious person.

you, James.

May the generosity, kindness and support you have shown so many of us be returned manifold.

Blessings to you, dear soul.
