Hey all,
I know I have been posting alot more as of late but I am writing this mostly so I can hear from people who are similar in my situation and for future reference if I ever need.
I look at my old posts from 2005 and I am happy I wrote them. I forgot alot of the things I went through and how my tms was really bad then.
Been having groin pain for a few months. Today was a half day where I did not have any of the pains at all. What was odd was when I had a late lunch and took my mom out the pains came back as I was sitting down.
My mom was giving me crap about how nobody has any money and that I shouldnt buy her lunch. It was only Applebee's and not Tavern on The Green lol.
My 30th Bday is next week and she mentioned that at lunch today. Also she never gets out because her husband doesn't appreciate her and is a bad guy. Maybe I am internalizing some sort of anger? She is moving 6 hrs away to Pittsburgh next month and that makes me pretty mad.
I guess my question is, I have so many issues and so many reason to be upset so much so that I do not know what would get to the bottom of this?
But yes, half day no pain what so ever. Good stuff. |

Maybe the anger is just a smokescreen for deeper feelings that you are not facing up to. Try to figure out how the child inside you might feel about your mom leaving. |

The child inside of me went through this many times. Because of their hot and cold relationship I was forced to move 8 times from PA to NYC in the course of 4 years. |

Just writing to keep a log.
Yesterday was perfect, no twinge nothing even reminiscent that I had any sort of pain.
First day for that.
Even though I had a very long grueling day at work yesterday pulling over 16 hours(one of my coworkers quit so I would have to do double work, I felt fine yesterday, now I am in pain.
Usually I go to my moms for the weekend to escape the city life and I am usually good here. For some reason I am having a flare up as if nothing painfree had happened yesterday.
But, I am very grateful that yesterday was so perfect. I am not a mommas boy or anything but it's always nice to come here on Sunday's and have a real home cooked meal.
Have any of you had this problem where you got pains in the place that stresses you (work) then all of a sudden a shift is happening where you do not have the pains at work but rather in your leisure time where everything should be relaxed? |

Had little twinges yesterday throughout the day but no pain. Before bed while I was really tired I felt pain but it went away.
Now have some twinges here and there but the good news is my sex drive came back with full force . Sorry to be graphic but I think it's a sign my subconscious is getting the hint. |

Hi Ice, My thought is if you can stop thinking about your body, about the self, about tms/anxiety, and go on living your life as if it never happen, you will be cure. It may help if you also don't keep track of your progress or set back and discontinue this post.
Your body make the focus of your thought become reality. If you keep thinking about your body, it will act up and bother you. :)
------------------------ No, I don't know everything. I'm just here to share my experience. |

You are right , I just wanted to remind myself if the pain ever got so bad I would look back and tell myself I had pain free days. We all know how the mind tricks us. I left my stressful job last week so Monday I will just focus on getting another one that is less stressful.
Thanks for the insight . I think I have all the ammo I need to be reminded of Tms and how my body responded |
