Well, I think its official at this point. I have ZERO groin pain for the most part now.

When I first came to this site, I had been experiencing 4 months of terrible groin pain. If I wasn't at work, I was at home lying on the couch or soaking in a hot tub. When I tried to get active or do things with friends on the weekends, the pain got worse.

I was diagnosed with epididymits, infection of a tube in the testicle. I was given 4 batches of antibiotics that didn't work. I was told by the doctor that my only option was to have my epididymis removed (cutting my chance of children in half). This was a terrifying thought for a 23 year old to have.

I found the blog of another epididymitis sufferer that had read Sarno's books and used this very site a few years ago to cure himself after a long time of suffering. Reading that someone that had the exact same thing that I had was a HUGE step in convincing myself that I had TMS.

Long story short, I read the books and took advice from the forum. And now less than a month later, the groin pain is gone. Granted, I still get episodes of pain which can still be pretty harsh.

Just last weekend, I woke up with bad groin pain out of nowhere! I identified the emotional triggers from the night before and that morning and realized that my brain was just trying again to get me convinced that I had a physical problem. Within a few hours, the pain was gone completely.

So, I'd like to thank the members of this forum that helped me recover so quickly. I may not have suffered as long as some, but I'm glad I was able to make the discovery of TMS so quickly and young in my life.

I still struggle with TMJ every day (which has amped up since I eliminated my groin pain) and anxiety from time to time. But hopefully I can eventually eliminate all of my TMS symptoms. I also one day, when I feel strong enough, I would like to try to heal my eyesight through TMS.

You’ll fall down, you stumble, you land square on your face. And every time that happens, you get back on your feet. You get up just as fast as you can, no matter how many times you need to do it

GTFan, I knew you would successfully defeat your groin pain !!! Congratulations.
(BTW I had TMJ a long long time ago, and haven't had a flare-up in years now. I'm very sure mine was just stress-related.)

Keep on keeping on. This is the type of success that I enjoy reading. Keep us up to date. It's always interesting to read how one deals and wins over any TMS pain. Thanks a lot.
