While trying to figure out the the correct number of "E"s in Deepak Chopra (it's two), I found a bunch of great quotes on the internet that are very complementary to TMS'ing especially this one:
“Pain is not the same as suffering. Left to itself, the body discharges pain spontaneously, letting go of it the moment that the underlying cause is healed. Suffering is pain that we hold on to. It comes from the mind’s mysterious instinct to believe that pain is good, or that it cannot be escaped, or that the person deserves it.” Deepak Chopra, The Book of Secrets: Unlocking the Hidden Dimensions of Your Life
Here's a link to the rest of them:

WOW!, it's funny when you find yourself quoting yourself from the internet! I was doing some more research on Deepak and found this old post from here:

Sunday morning and I have a slight cold/flu whatever? A few other TMS syms surfacing from the past that I'm not sweating. My left ear is a little aching, right shoulder/neck also. I thought about it and reviewed the week that was. Work problems having to deal with hiring a new manager under short notice, dealing with my brother/business partner who "doesn't understand how I think,", took my aging Dad to the hospital for half a day of tests to look for any structural reasons why he has given up on life, took my diabetic cat to the vet to change insulins because after two years no results with the original one. All in all survived the week very well I thought, thanks to TMS thinking and now I get to kick-back and practice what Deepak Chopra calls the "Western form of meditation"--staying home sick, watching TV, reading and snacking. But first I'm gonna' do a swim and smack some tennis balls.

Hi Tom,
In my old country of England, we had a saying: “Taking a day off for the Queen”. What this means is taking a day off when you are not really sick, and fellow workers jested at you for this.
For some reason I used to feel very guilty when I did this, and had all sorts of anxiety around facing work the next day.
I wish you a good “Day off for the Queen” (without anxiety); after the hectic week you had you deserve it.

What an amazing list of quote! There were quite a few quotes I liked, but the first one was one of my favs.
“Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way, ask if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a pioneer of the future.”
