Help.......
Having constant heel pain.......been reading about essential oils
and how bone spurs create pain in the foot (heel area)The majority of me doesn't want to go down that road although it seems tempting at times
just to get some relief. I love walking, it is one of my primary stress busters. It's to painful to walk at this point.
I have some classic TMS issues going on and a history of back pain,
knee pain, and jaw pain all gone now using the TMS books and holding out
until it runs it's course. So I feel hopeful but would love to hear from anyone having had a similar experience......Thanks, This Forum Rocks !

Statins are a class of drug whose purpose is to lower blood cholesterol. I think Lipitor is the most prescribed. There have been a lot of reports of tendonitis, bursitis, ruptured tendons, etc. from those using these drugs. You might try Celebrex if the pain is severe and continues.

When my old doctor who is a surgeon retired, who has opperated on countless knees, hips, backs..., I asked him about nerve damage due to herniated disc. He said after 50 years working as a surgeon he has never seen anyone with back pain ended up paralyse. He has never seen or heard of anyone getting permanent nerve damage due to herniated disc. He also said he has never seen anyone with foot pain due to gout or "bone spurs" that don't heal on its own eventually.

tendonitis, bursitis... are classic tms symptoms, I don't think statin have anything to do with it.
Just my thought, I'm not a doctor.

Mega dittos from me too Balto! That's the info that we need here. It's the same info Dr. Sarno has been disseminating for decades in his books, personal practice and lectures to patients. To me, that's affective science. Unfortunately, and it's been debated here before, if the "k-NO-ledge" didn't come from the the Oracale of Delphi-- clinical lab testing--it's not considered "true science". I'll take an honest doctor's lifelong observations of his patients lives, over some rats in a maze or test-tube bacteria residing in a university laboratory any day.

Cheers

Balto:
Your doctor is dead wrong about gout: I assume you are not so afflicted. Until allopurinol was invented gout sufferers all died with, and in some cases from the disease. High levels of uric acid rapidly compromise your kidneys. Read autobiographies of B. Franklin and Charles Dickens.

Peregrinus, My doctor maybe wrong, but I believe him. I had got rid of gout years ago with tms/anxiety method. My doctor said my uric acid levels remain high and yet I never have gout again. I eat everything I want to eat, all the food that they said would increase my change of getting gout symptoms.

Yes some mindbody diseases would kill or harm us. We need to take action to prevent it. Heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer,... are some of the health condition that many now think has a mindbody origin.
