As a TMS therapist and former TMS sufferer, I am always looking for new books for myself and clients. I just found one - "The Great Pain Deception" by Steven Ray Ozanich. The Forward section is by Dr. Marc Sopher, one of my personal heroes in my own journey to recovery. The book has everything in it, and since it was written by someone who had 30 years of pain, I totally related (I had 20 years). What I especially liked in the book was the discussion of how it can take a lot longer to get better than Sarno says in his books. Often people I work with are quite discouraged when they do not get better immediately, because of what they have read. Recovery can be a slow process but being able to take the pressure off helps the brain to focus better on the long term results. Anyway, I am recommending this to everyone because I am so excited to have such an excellent tool.

I have had every TMS symptom you could possibly think of. Is there a prize?

I also am LOVING this book, as I said in another thread. What a huge work of love.

Can we invite him back here AND allow him to put links so that we are supporting people doing service work for TMS sufferers in perhaps making some right livelihood out of their efforts?

Love is the answer, whatever the question

Hi Katie,

That would be a splendid idea, he can be contacted at PainDeception.com and I'm sure he'd be happy to hear from you and any other board members who are enjoying his book.

Cheers,
tt
