Thank you for that Mark, only Howard Stern could make an interview with the Good Doctor X-rated. Dr. Sarno certainly must have the best head of hair for any man of his age. I don't know what it would take for the general populace to embrace the fact that 80% of what ails them is TMS/psychosomatic in origin.
As long as our society has more money than brains, I don't see this changing. Dr. Sarno's ideas are out there to be discovered by anyone open to them. They can be relatively easily found on the internet, bookstore shelves, (the few that still exist), and touted on the media by Howard, Dr. Weil, Stossel and Oprah.
The problem is the system, (unconsciously ironically), conspires against accepting that the problem is "us" and not what's in the "water". When science and doctors UNLIKE yourself make the TMS dx to their patients, will TMS gain credibility and broader acceptance. I don't see this happening until the present system collapses under its own weight and bankrupts, which may be around the corner.
