Before I lose the thought into a sea of hitting a million tennis balls, I must memorialize this fleeting moment--TMS in action. I was anxious to post the contact info for the Good Doctor in a current thread and felt a great physical urgency that was pain-like (I will not detail the anatomical area because it's Sunday morning and there may be children reading).

As soon as the post was safely put to bed, I realized the pain went away creating a TMS ah-ha moment--(the point of all this is quickly being repressed/suppressed as I write)--that for Darwinian survival purposes, our focus is shifted to the physical when we feel anxious, whether for fight or flight, and the primitive part of our brain forces our attention onto the peripheral nervous system as a survival trait, whether our lives are in jeopardy or not. In the long run this is probably a good thing. The problem is in our westernized lives we seldom need to avail ourselves of this great bodily tool.
