I am writing here for the first time though I am not new to the forum as I have been following the advice given here and thanks to all of you that I have been able to recover from my tms symptoms after suffering from them for 30 odd years.I want an advice from you that now I, for most of the time feel perfectly all right but the problem is that whenever I meet a trigger the pain comes back. Now my question is that the pain seems to come from the conditioning of my mind and not due to some ongoing stress in my life.So what should I do to stop the pain.Should I ignore it or should I apply the methods which I used earlier to stop the pain.I know my pain is purely psychological and it could not harm me but as soon as the pain comes back I feel very low and my routine becomes disorganized. I hope you will help me finding the solution..Thanks and lots of love.

Hello Anu,

Congratulations on your success!

I am new on this but I am sure the veterans will give you good advice.

If you've come this far, I am sure you have the tools and can overcome minor " threats" from ypur mind.

All the best!!

I'm not sure. If their advice were that good, they wouldn't be veterans.

Hello Shari!

I only learnt about 10 days ago about TMS so you can imagine I also can have my skeptical moments but..

I have read about so many people who got their lives back!

As they say, minor pains are part of life.. like other minor issues.

But me, lying on the sofa just fearing pain... I don't have a life so I'm going to give it a try!

I don't know if you have worked hard on it, we have nothing to loose!

Best regards

So shari, does that conclude your words of wisdom, or do you have more to add to the discussion?
