No doubt about it, someone should send him a copy of Sarno or Tiger should see him in person. After all the public scrutiny, since the dust-up with his ex-wife, it's probably much more difficult for him to balance his soothe/rage ratio. He should get a lot of massages in the meantime to chill.

You guys have no basis at all for this. That knee's been operated on 4 times. And Tiger's proven his ability to play through pain.
This is a classic demonstration of everything looking like a nail when all you have is a hammer.
The last time he had surgery on that knee his ACL was torn. Give the guy a break. People get hurt. Not everything in the world is TMS.

Ok, he has had knee surgery. Now he is starting to have debilitating pains in his achilles, the calf, his neck, and so on and so forth. He is only 35 years old.

35 for a world class athlete is not the same as for the rest of us. The wear and tear of hours and hours at the range every day for decades, plus the weight training, plus the running, plus FOUR separate surgeries, is not to be dismissed. And if you're going to tell me that golf is not hard on the body, especially at that level and with the force of his swing, I suggest you think again.
Bottom line you have no clue as to the real nature of Tiger Woods injuries. It's the evident certainty of your diagnosis that bothers me.
The guy won a Major with a torn ACL... THE U.S Open on essentially one leg...That does not sound like your typical TMS'er to me.

I've always suspected so. I saw him one day about 5 years ago and my first thought was, "that's not natural. This guy's on the juice."
He was a typical, lanky golfer. The all of a sudden he looked like superman.
If he is/was taking steroids, that can lead to all sorts of chronic injuries.. |
