Hey fellow TMSers
I'm just wondering if there was anyone out there that has there back or neck crack or pop everytime they try and stand up straighter?
I went to a nerurologist and he looked at my x-ray and cat scan of my whole back, and told me their is nothing wrong with my spine, there is a small bulge on the lower part but it's not touching any nerves so this should be TMS im feeling? I have pain everywhere on my body....like its all sore to the touch, but the main parts where i get the dibilitating pain keeping me from work is my feet,upper back,and lower back.
I know how hard chronic pain can be guys, going through this for 2
years, keep fighting through it! hope your having one of your good days |

Have you read Healing Back Pain by Sarno? If not, it will help greatly. If you have read it, then I suggest reading it again...
Everyone gets little pops in their back sometimes and it's completely harmless.
Do you have an understanding of how TMS works?

Yes I have read his book, but not twice
Yes I know how TMS works, our sub-consious part of our brain is making us feel pain as a "protectection" method to make sure we dont pay attention to our repressed deep emotions
Thats great to hear about to pops and cracks! I find journaling and going to my physcologist and showing him my journal and talking about the deep emotions reduces my pain alot. |

Sounds like you're on the right track. One thing you're going to want to focus on is not sweating every little ache, pain, and pop. Hypochondria is a common TMS trait and for full recovery must be dealt with.
It's a process, but for some it's not a long process.
