Hi,
I think that I may have TMS. I work on computers all day in a very stressful job. About 5 years ago I started getting wrist pain. It coincided with a very stressful time in my life at work. I went to many doctors and the only thing they could come up with was tendonitis.

It is a pain that moves around the wrist. It would first be on forearm side, then by pinky finger, then by thumb side, then on backhand side of forearm. It would jump from one arm to the other arm as well. I tried braces, nsaids, massage, pt and nothing seemed to work.

I started looking into TMS and watched the 20/20 video on it. My wrist pain almost immediatley started to go away.

I don't know what feelings I am suppressing yet. I think they might be related to me being so hard on myself. I have always been hard on myself. My job very hard and doesn't allow much growth or creativity but it pays very well so I stay with it. One part of me is saying to quit and do something that I enjoy and the other part of me is beating me up, telling me to suck it up and just do it, and quitting would be giving up.

You don't need to know specifically, you just need to understand TMS theory, that it's happening subconsciously, the pain is real but harmless and it will subside.
