I am still in constant hellish pain. My arm hurts so bad, I want to cut it off, my should pops and cracks so loud my massage therapist says it sounds like popcorn! My feet burn and hurt like hell and even turn grey, green and purple....a mix of all three. So to top it off I am getting blue patches on my arm and hand. It is scary looking, looks like I painted my hand blue!!!

TMS?

Have you checked out these symptoms with your physician?
Before you decide that this is TMS you should rule out infection, virus and disease.
Pops and cracks are normal in everyone. I might not worry too much about that.
No one on this forum can diagnosis if your symptoms are TMS.

No this is not normal. Sorry to break the news my friend.
Popping and cracking that I have never had you'll the other symptoms started as well,
Popping and cracking that could bring me to my knees in pain. Yep that's normal, LOL.
Don't waste mytime and treat me like an idiot.

Been to 30 some Docs and most shrug shoulders.
Pain, pain and more pain! Pain, blue hands, discolored feet, drop in red and white blood cells, MGUS spike, blurry vision, positive Borrelia, Babesua and Bartonella infections.

I am taking medication now and some things have cleared but I have lots to go. I will be starting chemotherapy next year if I don't get better.

A friend of mine from Illinois went through the same thing and all his popping and cracking went away after treatment. My doctor says a lot of that us from nerves not firing correctly and they also found a lump in that shoulder.

Does it get any F'ing better?

Your symptoms are clearly serious and should not be treated as TMS until everything has been ruled out.

While TMS can manifest in a wide variety of symptoms, it is important to realize not everything is TMS. There are many rare conditions that are difficult even for medical experts to diagnose.

It seems the physicians you have seen are unable to diagnose it. I hope you find one who can.

When I showed the TMS doctor the blue hands and he heard the cracking and popping all over and loss of range of motion in some joints, plus drop in red and white blood cells, she didn't think it was TMS. She felt I had an underlying infection or virus...or spinal issue. I saw some of the best spine people on the east coast and no luck.

Richie,
It is my understanding that the Mayo clinic is probably the best place to get a complete diagnosis. The Mayo Clinic has a wondeful reputation and is often suggest as a place to go to get a diagnosis when all else fails.
Sorry you are not having any sucess.
Hope this is helpful for you.

I have always thought of the Mayo clinic as sort of a joke. I mean, how is it any better than the rest of the medical community which is horrible in this country?

You have to be careful with any medical institution, as they are made up of individual doctors and health care providers, some of whom are more caring and involved than others.

If you're in doubt with the Mayo Clinic, try the Cleveland Clinic. I'm not sure where you are, but the major teaching hospitals offer the best chance at arriving at some diagnosis, as might be guessed.

Or, if you think there are answers out of the country, you might be surprised that many countries offer much lower costs for treatment than in the US. However, it would be out of pocket. Check with a medical travel or tourism provider and make sure the institution is Joint Commission Approved.

I hope you find some answers.
