I was browsing through this website and came across a list of Questionnaires and saw "Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS) Questionnaire (to be posted soon)". http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Tests/tests.html

That's not right. Where do we complain? Looking through this site, it appears we should all be living in a cave because almost everything is quackery.

Hi Michele,

I took a quick look at the page, but I don't understand what is meant by: "questionaire (to be posted soon). Does it mean that they are researcing TMS to see if it is quackery? Or if you are asked to fill out a questionaire by somebody about TMS, that that is quakery?

If you know what they are talking about, I would apprecitae it if you could explain it to me.

Thanks

I have no idea what this "questionnaire" is. I think it is irresponsible of this site to put this up without any further explanation and without the actual questionnaire.

In any case, you should not be surprised, as the majority of people in this world do not believe in TMS.

Hi Michele.

Their "to be posted soon" has been there since Tom turned me on to the site a month or more ago.

Remember...we have found a solution that is anathema to people who make money from medical visits.Do you think we would escape the sword??? No way.

Because there is no current method to explain it's success,of course it would come into doubt.

But....My second child was saved from being miscarried by Terbutaline...my wife went into labor at 4-5 months.....this is NOT an FDA approved treatment for early term pregnancy problems...the FDA has barely approved ANY such meds,as anything dealing with Pregnant mothers is considered too financially risky...so NOTHING gets approved.

However, her doctor(god bless him) was saavy enough to know of a medication that stops contractions...they discovered it by accident...Women on this asthma med NEVER miscarry,or had an astoundingly low rate......a miracle side effect.

And...of course the vultures are already circling.I looked terbutaline up on the web and there are already Lawyers lined up to sue Drs who have used it.My son was a little hyper(Terbutaline is in the "upper"category)Hoever he is an A++ student,an outstandingly coordinated athlete, and a great kid...I'll take a little hyper.

Get it? If something has ANY risk that they can not PROVE away in court(when they are sued for Malpractice which is the number one Md expense these days) they don't get a nod.The questionnaire,to be quite frank,is a little vague.

I believe it's only part of a screening process.Sarno himself says over and over again to NOT diagnose your self, lest a real problem(cancer, tumor) be present.

My wife was having double vision about 8 years ago. They CT scanned her head and found a tumor.Coincidentally,my Boss at work had the very same tumor at the very same time(life is weird)\

My wife took hormones and ignored the symptoms(I didn't...I was freaked out!!) ..My boss at work had the surgery to have it removed. Both of them had full recoveries.

My wifes Dr. said this particular tumor(I forget the name, but it sits right on the pituitary gland) has probably been had by millions of people, but because they didn't have the diagnostic tools in the past,it wasn't taken seriously, and it just receded

Sound Familiar?

So,of course the medical community is going to have a field day on anything they can see,feel,touch...even if our bodies would have corrected it.And Of COURSE anything that they can't see, feel, touch, describe,is going to end up on quackwatch.

The only difference is,Sarno,Schecter and a bunch of other MDs have way too many success stories(like me) to have their work be thrown out.

We will ALWAYS be in the minority....we need to all get used to it.

fear not....truth always wins out in the end.

peace,love and hardsinkingfourseamfastballs
