well I've got my total gym now and am beginning working our, and all my joints are cracking, like they have been froze for awhile from inactivity. I can really feel where my muscles are tight.
I take it as a good sign.

anyone else notice when you start moving again that your joints crack like knees and shoulders?

One interesting thing that i noticed was that after embracing TMS for a few days, my joints stopped cracking altogether. Before that, i would get really bone-shuddering cracking in my elbows after a period of inactivity....

no idea what causes it, but it seemed to be connected to TMS in some way.....

yes I take it as a good sign, things are lossening up and as I'm stretching and moving more. all the tight muscles holding everything tight. I'm sure the cracking will stop once I'm more relaxed.

My father in law got both knees replaced last year and said that just few days after the operation they were already forcing him to move the legs and joints in order that things don't get stuck and harder to loosen up afterward. He remembers that as unpleasant but it surely worked out out well he was able to stand and walk a few weeks after that, now he is 89 and walks around without a cane most of the time after 7 years of excruciating pain before.

Maybe that 's why the procedure to keep people in hospital aftyer an operation has changed and that they now send you home with PT as soon as possible now.

Anyway all that was to say you may get better if you keep it all moving with the appropriate help. Also I heard that that even patient with severe spine problems are supposed to receive PT to keep things moving in order to maintain as much mobility as possible.
