Well, I've heard this question so many times and kept quiet, but all of a sudden I'm thinking, why not say it?

I do therapeutic phone sessions and I do specialize in mindbody conditions although I'm not a licensed therapist or an official TMS person. I dropped out of my psychology degree 40 years ago to pursue spiritual awareness practices which are now folded into my way of working. This means you can't get me on insurance (at least right now as my school, Soulwave Institute, now The Infinite Wave Institute, is on hiatus). I have trained dozens of health professionals and therapists and psychologists in my methods, though. I've been at it for 30 years and have worked with thousands of people.

I've barely mentioned this in years on this board, because I'm not trying to pull rank, just get support. My website, without providing a link, is www the infinite wave dot com (adjust as necessary), go to private sessions page or e-mail me from contact page.

Not perfect, right and done in my own process, but fantastic at working deep and fast with others, both emotionally and cognitively. I'm not the kind of talk therapist who takes your money for just listening to you. I am VERY proactive and we will get down to it even by the first session.

Have taught several very successful seminars enlightening groups to the principles of TMS plus methods to move through the emotional stuff quickly and easily. Had multiple complete remissions of symptoms in those seminars (in fact, I need to take one myself, although I would classify myself as a hard nut, fibro-TMS style). But I'm functional and happy and don't take it all seriously, which is better than perfect health, in my book.

So give me a shout if you're interested.

Katie Darling

Jerica, how about Monte (Monte Hueftle ) who posts regularly on this forum. I think he does phone sessions. In fact I know he does phone sessions coz he mentions it on his site.. Go to his website & try to contact him.

A lot of members here have benefitted greatly from his posts.

Wavy I'm glad you did mention it as I went to your site but I think you're just a bit outside of my price range right now. I was paying one therapist 185 for 50 mins and I am still paying him off. The new therapist is 100 an hour and I just pay her outright. So until I get my other therapist paid off I'm being really careful with spending. And I have no insurance so that helps lol. Can you tell me more about your work? The site had a section for articles but I couldn't seem to find them. Help:)

I'll also look at Monte's posts. I think I found his site with the master plan -- my big questions are just about pain being the focus. I don't know if TMS doctors and therapists go much into the other symptoms besides the pain like breathing, weird sensations, panic attacks, health anxieties etc.

Afraid you're missing the point.

The goal of therapy is to try to uncover the repressed emotions. You should not be discussing the symptoms. You should not be focusing on the symptoms. The more you do, the more you are sabotaging recovery.

yeah, you definitely don't want to be talking symptoms with a therapist!

;-)

Jerica, I'm e-mailing you, will give you a session if you want.

I know, Dave. I feel really sad about it too because i"m hearing what you're saying just not ABLE to stop attending to every twinge yet.

Wavy, I didn't get an email yet -- just wanted to make sure it didn't get eaten in the spam folder or something. I'll send you a PM!

Thank you Gibbon for the link , I will check it out.

You're all really nice to me even though I must be a real annoyance to you by now. Thank you for all your understanding and patience.
