i'd second the recommendation for the pain relief centre...geogie oldfield runs it, and runs a meeting in huddersfield on the last wed of every month for former and current TMS people....which is tomorrow! it's open to anyone, so if you live nearby then get on down (contact georgie for details....)

send me an email if you want any support/advice etc etc....

cheers

I'm from the UK, too - feel free to contact me.

There's also a page on the wiki:

If you have any suggestions, feel free.

hiya hillary

your link to the UK-tms info reinforced what i was thinking earlier....the wiki might have loads of great stuff on it, but it's pretty hard to find! i wanted to edit the "success stories" bit for the RSI page, and it took me about 5 mins to get the page - and that was with me knowing it was there......

ditto, the uk-tms bit, i haven't stumbled across that before but it looks pretty useful....

easy access is the key.....!

I totally agree. The challenge is, how do we make it more accessible without overwhelming people and within the technical limitations of the software.

Right now, we are trying to get people to explore the wiki using the site outline on the left of every page. Using it, you are just 2 clicks away from both the UK and the RSI pages. (Click here to learn how.) How do we make it more accessible than that?!

I'm don't have a good answer (if I did, I would have implemented it and we wouldn't be having this conversation!)

The challenge comes from the fact that we have over 300 wiki pages of information about TMS, plus a video library, a blog aggregator, member profile pages, and several forums (these are all in addition to the 300+ wiki pages). Some pages are better developed than others, but there is way too many good pages to put all of them in a list on one page. Further, different people will have different ideas of what the best pages are...

Anyway, I want to be a polite forum user, so I don't want to hijack this thread. Let's continue the discussion in the thread where we have already been discussing this subject.
