Hi All,

Thnx to all who replied to my previous post. Wasn't able to respond coz on Tuesday night just out ofthe blue, I had excruciating pain in my tummy region and lots of bleeding. I have never experienced anything like this.

Went to hospital and am still here. It seems I have ulcerative colitis which is severe inflammation of the colon. They removed the drips today & I am allowed only fluids.

I was taking 200mg ibruprofen long lasting every night for about 10 days and apparently the capsules were breaking in my colon instead of the stomach were they should be and so I developed ulcers.

Take care when self medicating.

Good Luck & Good Health
Mala

Sorry to hear you are laid up. Hope you are back home doing sun salutations soon! My mother in law works in an old folks home, and they have stopped using ibuprofen because of a range of problems.
Cheers, and get well soon!

I read on another post that you have been in a lot of pain - I hope it clears soon. Dr. Dubin told me that 90% of his tms patients that had relapses after becoming well initially found that childhood issues caused the relapse. I didn't realize how mine had affected me until discussing it with him.
