Has anyone else noticed that a lot of posts get edited after being posted on this forum? I've been on other internet forums, and my personal nonscientific impression is that there is more editing here than at the other forum.

... but of course, many TMSers are perfectionists, so we can't resist clicking the edit button to fix that tiny little problem with our post that bugs us so much.

I just thought it was funny. I've noticed that many posts get edited for a while, but this is the first time that I've connected it to perfectionism and TMS.

And I swear I didn't edit this post just to make a point.... I'm a huge perfectionist.

When I do my journaling I use spell check..How funny is that.
And, sometimes I even change the font if I am not happy with the way the page looks.
The truth is I use Microsoft Word to write on this forum. Just cut and paste and then I have to edit again.
Marsha
maybe no editing on this one,
Thanks for the insight and the laugh.

Oh YEAH. I can't ever leave a post alone without having to make it as good / interesting / thoughtful as it can possibly be. Good point.

Funny guys!!

It takes me a while to write them up, like Hiliary trying to make them GOOD.

But, I'm embarrassed to say, I'm not sure how to get rid of all those symbols at the top of the post, so I don't even dare go back and edit. I'm not even sure how to put one of those smiles in my post.
