To me, after all the posts, all the books, all the discussion, it seems the way out of this mess is as simple as this (which isn't really "simple")...
1. DO NOT FEAR YOUR PAIN, NOT EVEN 1%, AND STOP GIVING IT AN OUNCE OF ATTENTION.
2. FEEL, FEEL, FEEL...YOUR EMOTIONS AND EXPRESS THEM ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.
3. GET BACK TO DOING, MOVING, AND LIVING.
Yes, to the point and direct. Easy? No.

my equation is something like
1 do not deny any feelings, this includes fear. admit to everything 2 somehow get to the point where you know there isn't anything wrong with you 3 express said feelings, all the way down to their base 4 get on with yo life

Agree 100% with your 3 and would add:
Say No when you mean No and Yes when you mean Yes Stop being so self critical, be kind to yourself Take responsibility for your emotional responses, no-one makes us feel a certain way.

I agree with eveyone , love this post,
1. Fear, worry, anxitey, stress, and anger (need to go). 2. forgive everyone whose done you wrong, including yourself. 3. love and accept yourself, and everyone else. 4.journal your past, make peace with it, then forget it and take one day at a time.
Doctors can only manage disease and conditions, they can not heal you (unless you have a broken bone or some sort of accident).
Make peace and have faith in your higher power.
Sorry, I oculdn't stick to 3. Sorry had to add one more" Do not judge others". |

The last two times I recoved from TMS equivalents, this is exactly what I did to get better. This time I think I'm going to need some therapy. I have some life problems that need to be fixed and I'm not sure I can figure out how to do that on my own. That said, I've got done one, two and three and can only get better from here. Debbie
