I'm done with PT- told them my benifits ran out and it was the truth, but she said I could sign up for the maintance program which includes using the exercise machines, and using the 97 degree pool that has the water weights and that, but no therapist.
Only $30 for 18 visits and I can go when I want and how long I want. Its only a mile from my home, and I am in a very deconditioned state, so do you think its ok to do this, not thinking it will alleviate the pain but just to get in the pool and work out low impact. Kinda like joing a gym, but the YWCA is 10 miles from me and huge and full of people and I don't want to go there.
So is something like this ok. |

Thanks, I'm going for it. The thought of working out in a warm pool this winter in Mi sounds great, and I need to start exercising again its just too good of a deal to pass up. |

Well done & enjoy the workout. Here in HK our pool is heated to 28 C even when it is summer time and the temperature is 33 C . No fun.

Yes , I don't think being in the hot pool would be fun in the hotter months. I will start slow.
I just don't care to go to the gyms with all the athletes, at least at a physical therapy place I won't stick out like a sore thumb!!!! as everyone in there except the therapists are in pain, maybe they are too, ha ha.
