I love when he gets press like this. I checked out the clip--mid-way down the right side on the home page.
Thanks for posting.

I was one of those whose pain got worse as the 40th birthday approached. . .

Yes I was excited that his work was getting some publicity. The word needs to get out to the people suffering needlessly. We can't wait for the medical community to wake up.

Exactly, I hear you about the milestone birthdays!!!!!

I forwarded five names and telephone numbers to the producer of the show for a total of six from the forum.

Unfortunately only two members appeared on the program. I would have liked to have seen RSI and other manifestations of TMS covered but it was only on for two and a half minutes.

I must say that Peg had an interesting story and it was good to hear Dr. Sarno's comments.

This is a wonderful segment! Thank you! I am so glad that people on the forum got to be in the clip. Wow. I had a similar relief when I realized that so much of what Sarno was writing described my life. It felt wonderful to be understood by someone. And yes, I will use this information for the rest of my life!!

Great clip!

(Sarno is looking older, though, I guess I'm used to the MindBody DVD picture of him)

At the beginning of one of Dr. Sarno's books there is a birthdate of 1923, so he will be 85 this year.

I think that it would be great if we all sent a birthday card to him if anyone knows the date and if he hasn't had it yet.

Allan---I thought your story was quite inspiring as well. I chuckle every time I think of the surgeon's exasperation when you showed him you were fine.

I sure was glad I wasn't interviewed outside. They might have wanted me to do yard work.

Maybe we could get Chronicle to do a half hour on TMS and everyone from the forum (locally) who were interested could participate.

Birthday cards! Great idea. But how to find out the date?

THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this happen! Great stories! I agree ... very inspiring!! Would be fantastic if they would do a longer segment. Every time I see Dr Sarno on video I just think he's such a beautiful man ... NOT afraid to say that what he HAD been doing previously to help patients just wasn't working !! I am deeply grateful for his work and courageousness in seeking a different way to really HELP!!

How about writing an email to his staff and asking someone when his birthday is?

Thanks Paul. When I found that quote, all I could think of was Dr. Sarno.
