hi

I read John E. SARNO book three years ago when I had back lower back pain. I guy at work gave it to me. my daughter was going to be born in the next three months. I was worried so much that I couldn't even stand at the end of three months. after my daughter was born I was better in two to three weeks. In the last month my shoulder and upper back and neck are sore, the pain runs down my arm to my fingers. my fingers are nume and my wrist is sore. That's when I picked up the book again and read it, ever thing is telling me that it is TMS but it is hard to make your subconscious mind think that it is plychological at all times and not physcial. I have a few things in my life causing me stress now. I'm the kind of person that keeps ever thing inside tied up in knots. I went to the doctors, just like the book says the doctors have to find something wrong physical. he said I have a pinched nerve in my neck and something about a disc. than he said something about going under the knife. That just set me back a few weeks helping me out with TMS. I would like to find a doctor in my area that understands TMS. Deep down my heart is telling me it can't be this serious and that it is TMS. knowing that I'm not the only one trying to fight this TMS is a big help. thank you

That comment is telling.

If I were you I would forget what the doctor told you and treat it as TMS. You have nothing to lose.

Your symptoms are standard tms. You have a history of it so you are a prime candidate for a reoccurance. Forget the doctor with the knife and concentrate on what is bothering you. I know if you can realize your symptoms are harmless and your unconcious is activating them, you will start to improve. I really recommend the video. It is very consoling to hear and see people with your same symptoms that are painfree. Good luck to you.
