Hi Team,

I saw there's been several threads mentioning Candace Pert's work lately. A few months ago someone here recommmended her "Your body is your subconscious" cd, which I have listened to this week. I just wanted to say THANKS to whoever it was. This is an amazing series and really works in conjunction with everything Sarno talks about and TMS practice. For those looking for an interesting scientific understanding of pain and how our bodies are connected to our emotions, I recommend this set. It's only 3 cds: the first is a speech she gave, and the other 2 cds are an interview format. As a recovering hypochodriac and fellow TMSer, this has really expanded my understanding. I can't wait to read Molecules of Emotion that was discussed here.

Cheers to everyone getting well and staying ahead of our pain!!!! (And being brave enough to feel and express our not-so-pleasant emotions.)

recovering hypocondriac really touched a nerve(hahah) with me. I have been a Sarno believer for 23 years. Now I have little body pain but I continue to develop ailments that I obsess about. It is real suffering of the mental kind.
