Does anyone have experience treating a painful hamstring as TMS? How long did it take? Have hard time getting the pain out of my mind and not focusing/obsessing about it. Tried using Sarno techniques on last hamstring episode three years ago but was unsuccessful and had to just let it heal very slowly over more than a year. I guess a normal "physical" hamstring injury would have healed faster than a year so maybe that's my answer whether it tms or physical. I cured my tms back pain twenty years ago but believe tms has returned in other places- now maybe hamstring. Am in florida for a month and see that there is a Sarno trained doc in Orlando- Scott Brady. Anyone know if he's good? Many thanks. Steve
I feel your pain, I've struggled with the same kind of dilemma over achilles stuff. Like me, I'm sure you'd gladly trade your current issue for a sore back.
I have no firsthand knowledge of Scott Brady but he did write a book "Pain Free for Life", which I have. I think it's pretty well done. If you have the opportunity to see him I'd certainly give it a try.
