Hey everyone,

it's been a while since I've been by this site.

I know many of you are familiar with Byron Katie, but for the new faces (screennames...), I thought I'd share with you a book and a woman and a thought process that I found through someone else's recommendation on this site.

If Sarno lit a candle so I could see al ight into my emotions, mind, experiences, and physical and mental health, then Byron Katie turned on a giant freaking light.

Combining hers and Sarno's insights into stress has made me SO much happier emotionally, and as a result, physically pain-free as well. Physical symptoms like minor teeth-grinding, acne, a wart, face-wrinkling at a young age, and knots in my back and neck (all of which I suspect are minor TMS equivalents) persist, but they're just alerts to my body's response to stress.

One thing Sarno didn't help me much with was figuring out HOW to unlock pent up emotions. Byron Katie's book is that very key to unlock them. Every moment is a joy thanks to her ideas.

So give it a shot, and spread the word if you find it helpful or not!

Best, and love,

Sky

By the way, her books are:

"I Need Your Love - Is That True?"

"Loving What Is"

"A Thousand Names for Joy"

and something else I forget.

I recommend starting with book 1 or 2. "Thousand Names" seems like the kind of book you have to read after being familiar with her.

Check her out, though. She gives a VERY specific way of unlocking stress (it's a short method of questinoning stressful thoughts) that is so true, works so well, and its insights continually open up a new world of truth to me, 6 months after I first started reading her.
