I have had two days with way fewer leg symptoms, which is great. I am trying to rejoice (as Sopher says to on days like this). However, I am getting a little more buttock and side of hip stuff. I think that this is the symptom imperative. I can only hope that I have this TMS on the run and that I will continue to win. I have been re-reading Healing Back Pain and I do think that it is the best of Sarno's books.
I found that my bout with the "symptom imperative" and transitional symptomology truly strenghtened my belief in the TMS diagnosis and was a critical point in my road to recovery. Acknowledge this situation for what it truly is, a sign of success in your treatment approach, and start to build on it. There truly is a light at the end of the TMS tunnel and I think you are now that much closer to it. Congratulations and good luck.
