I was feeling much better for a time but it seems to have come back in full force. The neck, shoulder and head pain and the muscle itching in the back of my head where I get the headaches. It's all back.

This year I quit smoking, started homeschooling my youngest son, my oldest son ended up in ICU with ketoacidocis and is now a diabetic, lost both my grandmother and my aunt, started seeing a therapist, so a lot has been going on.

Anyway sometime when I wasn't paying attention the TMS symptoms came flooding back.

Now I have to try to start back at square one again I guess.

Sorry about what your'e going thru.

from your psyhcologically based post it appears you'll move thru the squares much quicker this time

I'm a service man going into homes all day. And in my experience, I have never seen a mom who homeschools who did'nt look burnt out w/ stress. I'm sure you have your reasons why you do it, but I see it a couple times a year, and these moms are micromanaging perfectionists to a tee. Just my observation, I don't know you, and you could be an exception.

Oh I hope I can get through some squares quicker this time. It's tough. The homeschooling is stressful, too stressful at times. I'm doing it because his grades were failing and he was having problems with kids at school and I was at wits end. It's frustrating because he doesn't appreciate it and I don't get any break now. I keep wishing for one day off haha. I should be in control of the home situation right, nope it doesn't work that way any more, no one listens and I end up mad. As soon as I get mad or stressed I feel pain, it just flares up so I know it is related. Now I have to try to remember how I got feeling better last time.

*sigh*

Maybe someone can help, I forget and I can't get to my books untill tomorrow. Do pain relievers such as ibuprophen lessen pain when you have TMS? I see I have some rereading to do. By afternoon the pain gets really bad and ibu has bene the only thing that has given me any relief.

That would seem to be major source of repressed anger. How could a *good* parent justifiably experience (let alone express) anger towards a child that is having academic / social adjustment challenges at school?

I'm sure it is because I really would place him back in mainstream public school if I wouldn't have to feel guilt over his issues. So I have a choice, feel overstressed or guilty and I feel like there is no good way out.
