I hadnt seen my therapist in a couple weeks--thought he was on vacation. Saw him today--looking very uncomfortable in a neck brace. He had just had surgery for "bone spurs impinging on nerves" ARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!! He knew nothing about TMS beforehand, but i figured he had the basics down by this point....sigh. Anyhow, he did help me figure out this very strange dream i had the other night:
I was watching (along with other cheering spectators) a race between a frog and a black spider. The race went back and forth, until just before the finish line, the spider stopped, and the frog pushed across to win the race. Then the frog became concerned why the spider had stopped, and went back to check on its condition. The spider then attacked the frog, injecting venom and wrapping it in web. My mother then proceeded to place this horrifiying drama on a dinner table plate, for all to see.
Now, this was a pretty weird dream, even for me. The meaning appears to be: frog=me spider=TMS. finish line=any life goal. moral of the story=beat TMS and NEVER LOOK BACK! TMS is not your friend, it is an evil villain and deserves no sympathy! COuld have other meanings too, but i think this is fairly on target
