I am a former patient of Dr. Sarno. Many years ago I had severe prostatitis and only Dr. Sarno was able to cure it. Recently the past month I have had a post nasal drip, cough intermittent sinus pain and extreme fatigue and weakness. I decided to take a long walk to see if I was really so fatigued. After the walk I felt the same fatigue no more or less. How do I know if this is TMS? On a side note my father recently was hospitalized and this incident brought up much rage which I'm sure I repressed. Any help is appreciated.

Certainly sounds like TMS to me. These are all common symptoms caused by a psychosomatic symptom imperative. Best, - Sensei

yeah it sounds like TMS, but why not just go to the dr and see what they say--if they give you a TMS-equivalent diagnosis (like allergy) then you know!

It is definitely TMS!!! I dealt with it all the time and you can turn it off just like any other TMS equivalent. But make sure you don't have a sinus infection first. If you do, you allowed the TMS to get out of hand. Check it out with your Dr. and if you got gross stuff (green, smelly/sorry to get graphic with you) coming out of your nose, then kick it with anti-biotics and then apply the TMS principles to it. I can definitely tell you it is TMS, I suffered with allergies/sinusitis for 30+ years and after reading Mindbody Prescription IT IS GONE! Have no fear - just do it.
