Hello,

I am looking for a TMS doctor at either Stanford University or nearby bay area. All help would be great appreciated. Perhaps, even a TMS psychologist.

Regards,
SN

I used to serve this purpose at the board, but I'm too busy chatting politics and not repressing and suppressing. Let's see how long it takes for someone else to take up the cudgels.

I've cured my TMS/OCD to be a "goodist" and help everyone and then get piled-on for speaking my mind in reply to others who speak their's.

Good luck and don't let me run you off. YOU can be "cured" of TMS with accurate info.

Cheers and Best Wishes,
tt

Hello and welcome, SN. Just ignore TT, I think he's gone off the deep end. Here's a some listings for CA:

http://www.tarpityoga.com/directory.html#CA

Just to note, many people have success with curing TMS without seeing a TMS physician. Sometimes it is more helpful to rule out structural causes for your pain by consulting a few regular MDs and/or specialists. There have been discussions on the board about the variations (in technique, philosophy) between TMS doctors, so your experience with any given one could be highly variable.

Good luck,
ss

F2Bme,

You are the WINNNER--good job! SS, is a close second. And she is right, I have gone off the deep-end. Actually, I AquaJog 30-50 minutes a day IN the deep-end of the swimming pool.

Keep up the good work,
tt

As I live in the Palo Alto, I, too, would be interested in a doctor or therapist in this area.
It looks like there is only one and I am not sure he is a TMS doctor.

Fatteh and Eisendorf are the only Bay Area TMS MDs that usually get listed. I have two listings for therapists who may do TMS, but I think they are at home.

The Center For Creative Growth (http://www.creativegrowth.com/) does therapy relating to the inner child and is a good resource to contact for therapists.

(415) 989-3579

Carol Saturansky, PhD
2225 Union St

We did a Bay Area TMSHelp meetup once, but I wasn't able to go and there hasn't been another one. Maybe we should try again? What say you, TT?

I would be interested in this...maybe we should start a thread dedicated to having such a meeting.

I cycled 20 km this weekend and then hauled and piled firewood all day yesterday. Ouch!

If you can figure out how to get to the below thread title, there is a previous discussion of the topic. I don't know enough about computers to link to it, try a search. I would attend a meeting.

Try Clark Grove he's been good so far. I know people with TMS who like him. Seems to "get it."
