Hi all,

It's me again, the guy who was suffering from RSI. I purchased Sarno's book (The Mind Body Prescription), and read it. It's quite interesting, but not very exhaustive on treatment options.

I've resumed my normal activites, and have noticed significant improvement. However, I still have 'background' pain, and my joints seem to be overly sensitive to pain.

I'd like to take Sarno's method further, and I was hoping for strategies! Any advice, people?

Glad to hear you've had some success.

I found Dr. Schechter's journaling workbook and Fred Amir's deconditioning techniques to be very helpful.

There's also quite a few suggestions on this site for journaling, which is the usual track after finishing the books. Try doing a search -- I collected all the links recently but don't have time just now.

You also might try re-reading MBP if you haven't yet; it's usually suggested to re-read the book because our brains miss things (especially things relating to us in particular!) the first time around. Notably, there is a long letter in MBP that Sarno quotes from Jim Campobello, describing his treatment method, which you might find helpful on second look.
