Self-Awareness

I think at times it would be nice to have some company,
At other times I'm quite content to sit alone with me.
At times I wish in learning that I could focus in,
But then my mind it wanders off and I'm all confused again.
At times I take a look within and form a narrative,
But are these thoughts reflective of the life I daily live?
"Shall I ever know myself?" is the question in my mind,
If I seek long and hard enough what answers will I find?
And so another day it ends, I'm off to my repose,
The answers to my questions the good Lord only knows.
