Hi All,

I've been losing touch lately and I need some die-hards to get me back on track. My TMS physical manifestation was never back pain. It was multiple crazy unrelated symptoms that never amounted to anything upon testing. Of course, I am one of those people who fears the worst when something comes up. This morning, I went to my primary for a routine visit and he found an enlarged gland in my neck which he is investigating w/bloodwork and a chest X-ray. I feel fine. Deep down I know it is nothing but I am unable to forget it and go on until results are found. I'm fearing the worst. Anxiety has always played a role in my TMS. Someone shout out some words of wisdom, please. Nor

Hi Nor;

Anxiety has always played a part in my tms, too. Wish I had some words of wisdom for you. What I do have is encouragement. I, too, absolutly freak out with fear at the thought of certain medical problems. Had a scare, hospital, tests, a few months ago myself. The fear and anxiety was huge. I could find no magic to make it all stop. I did, however, keep sarno-sizing and journalling and I got thru it. You will, too. It will pass. You'll come out the other side of this. No matter what, you'll be O.K. You are not alone. We all go though scary crap. It sucks big time. I HATE it! I tried to accept that I was scared __it-less and that I would feel better soon. Sometimes just enduring life is the best we can do until things turn around. Try to do kind, loving things for yourself. Self care is important. Glad you're reaching out for help. A wise person once told me, "If we were meant to do this alone, we each would have been given our own planet". Take care. Vicki

This isn't real?

MORPHEUS
What is real? How do you define
real? If you're talking about
your senses, what you feel, taste,
smell, or see, then all you're
talking about are electrical
signals interpreted by your brain.

Okay, Stryder. Don't mean to seem like a dim bulb - but what does that really mean?

vnwees, Thanks for your response. I appreciate the support. Nor
