I know that I have tms and that I need to treat it with the books and have been for years... I have made a lot of progress over the years but have not been able to put this to bed. I am hoping to start working with Dr. Schechter in LA soon.
My question is this; Vicodin seems to be the only thing that helps with the pain. I believe it works because it is an opiate and it blocks the brian from receiving the pain more than it stops the pain.
Has anyone had any luck with the new class of non-narcotic pain killers. I don't know the names of these drugs but it would be helpful to not be taking all of these mind altering drugs.
I looked for posts and didn't see any on this topic.
Also if anyone has worked with Dr. Schechter I would love to hear about it.
Also I see a lot of post about dizziness. By coincidence I went to see an ENT and the put me on Kolonipin/Konlonzapam sorry about the SP on both, but these are the only things that work. I have been having more success as of late to stop my dizziness with my mind but for those who feel helpless this drug really works.

Hi RRR,

I saw Dr. Schechter a few years back for my right hip and he dx'ed as arthritis and not TMS. If you do a search of "Schechter", a great number of posts should come up.
