Warning : there will be a lot of "C"s in this post but NO "seeing".

Was just watching CNN about CFS and the CDC. I normaly never watch CNN, (Jim & Jane's communist news network...sorry about that, but I recently had a request to liven things up here). At home I block CNN out to help protect my closed mind, but on vacation it's harder to control mind pollution by sound-bites.

There was Julie Gerberding, the attractive lady, with the two-tone hair, who heads The Center for Disease Control, announcing a new program of information for sufferers of CFS. It's official now, Chronic Fatigue is a real bonifide disease in the eyes of the government. I wonder if anyone at the CDC has ever heard of Sarno?

Is this the gray and blue two tone hair? Never mind, google rocks...http://www.nih.gov/nihrecord/08_31_2004/images/Gerberding.jpg

Wouldn't it be intersting to be able to read the newspaper in 200 years and see the headlines...

No doubt Stryder. I recall a documentary on the life of Sir Issac Newton recently on Nova or something and he was reviled in his age.

He lectured to empty classrooms at Cambridge, whilst his students were diddling the local wenches at the tavern and getting syphlis.

He was an alchemist and practiced many strange mysterious things. He only had one student assistant to help him and had many rancourous debates with his detractors in the prestigious scientific institutions.

I don't know if our Good Doctor will get his due, (and doubt if he gives a hill of beans about popularity), unless he cures Oprah or Katie Curic's sagging ratings.

A good PR campaign could probably help but I don't see Dr. Sarno doing a whirl-wind book signing tour. Besides, most people need their pain otherwise they would have nothing to talk about.

But, but but...

isn't The Divided Mind doing rather well, or is that just in my refined world?

Love is the answer, whatever the question
