I would be very much interested in attending this. I live in Santa Cruz, but would be willing to make the trip to SF. Any ideas on when / where?
Thanks! |

This posting is from a year ago - but is the meet still on. I live in Santa Clara and have chronic pelvic pain (CPPS). Driving to SFO is difficult because of pain but I can try |

It happened once but hasn't happened since. I'm still interested, if people want to meet, and actually would be happy to have a "South Bay" meet if we can get enough people. Otherwise, SF makes the most sense as a central Bay Area place.

armchairlinguist I noticed that you are visiting a TMS therapist in the bay area. There seemed to be only one Dr Fatteh. This question is more for one on one basis, but am wondering if there is some way you can convey the name of the therapist you are seeing(without of course violating privacy issues etc). Thank you |

She's not a TMS therapist, she's just a regular therapist. I started seeing her when pain-free. She doesn't necessarily 'get' TMS, although I did tell her about it.
I'd go for a quorum of 2, especially as my work is close enough to Santa Clara that we could meet post-work if you like. Traveling to SF is a PITA for me.
I can't recall if I've set up to be contacted through off-forum messages, but I'll go set it so I can be, if you want to contact me that way.

I live on the Peninsula (near Belmont) and would be interested in meeting, esp. if it's near the south bay or of course in the Peninsula area. I personally don't like having to go to the City (driving there is rather nerve-wracking for me). But driving down 280 or 101 is no problem. |

Ooh, we have a quorum of three for a Peninsula meet! PV, I didn't realize you were around here.

Yeah, Armchairlinguist, I've lived here almost 20 years. Originally from NJ, moved to AZ in the late 80s, then here in 1990 (part of the heydey of Silicon Valley before the dot-com bust). Where are you located? |

Hello Bay Area. I've been off the board for a while and just saw this thread. Is there a meet-up in the near future? I am in the Inner Richmond, SF. I am a former Sarno patient and have had a great deal of success applying his methods. Check my other posts if you want details. Would be good to meet others in the area.
Best, |

Oops, it looks like I failed to respond to this and things dropped away. I think PV is on vacation now anyway. I am really busy at the moment but would be willing to try a meetup, though as expressed I prefer the Peninsula.

I live in Saratoga now (used to be in Santa Cruz) and am still game to meetup if a group is formed. I can get to pretty much anywhere in the Bay Area (within reason :-)
Thanks! |

Hi,
Any chance there is still a group in SF area that wants to meet? I live in Berkeley but am willing to travel anywhere in the Bay Area.
Thanks! |

Yes - this thread is confusing because it's 4 years old until the last post.
I'm in if we can agree on a time and place.

Cool. How about Aug 16 in the afternoon? East Bay? Of course I would prefer that because I am in Berkeley but I am willing to travel. |

I could possibly make it to Berkeley on Aug. 16 in the pm, if there are others who are in.

Are you guys still thinking of meeting on Aug. 16? I could make an early afternoon meeting, but I'd have to leave by 4 at the latest.
Aran, I live in Berkeley too, so it would probably be easy for us to meet for coffee or lunch sometime. Feel free to email me. |

How about tomorrow at 2 PM at Cafe Local 123 on San Pablo Ave in Berkeley. Cross street is University Ave. |
