Tim Henman had a "stiff back" at the beginning of the tournament and didn't know if he'd be able to play. Today he reached the quarter-finals. He said:

"It's taken to have a bad back at the beginning of the tournament to sort of say to myself, 'You know, whatever happens, happens'. And if anything good happens, it's going to be a big, big bonus."

It's an interesting attitude ... one that helped him get through his TMS and succeed at the Open.

Athletes...

Sarno would be booked for the next 3 years if pro athletes went the TMS route.

For you New York Area fans...

Jose Reyes (NYM)- Will his hamstring ever heal?

Kevin Brown (NYY) - Always has back problems, super perfectionist, and when he has a bad game last week, gets angry, punchs the wall and breaks his hand. (Take a cab to NYU asap)

For me the pain is always a component of apprehension before and after the activity. Usually once I start, I stop "Thinking" so much and I'm alright.
