Regan Books---that's the same publisher as Howard Stern's books (and lots of other bestsellers). My guess is that this one will be much more publicized than his previous ones... |

I sure hope so! It seems like the previous publisher didn't do anything, but maybe they did and I just never heard about it.

I just got Dr. Sarno's new book today. Many chapters are written by other TMS docs. |

I've read a couple chapters and I really like it. It has so much more pyschology in it. I like that he showed where he developed his treatment more by citing the works of some of the psychologists he has read papers on. Anyway, looking forward to finishing and I believe it's his best work yet. |

Does the book explain the recovery process? Are the steps described? |

Yes. there is a treatment chapter. Goes a little more in depth than his other two books. Obviuosly he tells you to ignore the structural diagnosis, think on the psychological issues, anger from infancy/childhood, self imposed pressures, pressure of everyday life, miscellaneous things like guilt, shame, fear, insecurity, and vulnerabilities. He goes more into depth and this book gives more to do, like maybe write an essay about a list that you make with the above examples. He also says to read the pyschology chapter and treamnet chapter every day, set time aside everyday to think about life-s pressures etc. THere's really too much for me to type write now. It's good book and one should definetly pick it up.
