I often see people talking about sharp pains and they see this as their YMS, i dont have these short sharp pains but constant tingling sensations in limbs that are not painful but affect my working abillity, concentration etc.
I m almost sure this is a form of TMS because this discomfort changed locations in past few years and it gets stronger when i m in stressfull situations that somehow bring me back to past traumas.

Its interesting how my TMS developed and evolved through time, after my older brother moved in a situation which was already full of conflicts, arguments and tension between other familly members things got worse, to make things worse my grandparents who were sick in any way you want moved to that already crumbled place, there would be almost no day without fights, yelling, but i knew this would change for better soon and it did, grandparents moved in their own apartment, theres lot more breathing space in our apartment, there are still conflicts but not as much as before, but the problem is that during this very stressfull period i couldnt help but just look how my body responded to it, from what was before a neck pain that i thought is something wrong with my neck and circulation in neck now became series of strange sensations all over my body, they would change from day to day, in location and shape, from tingling, buzzing, vibrating behind shins to burning in arms and neck almost constantly, there would be times when there would be not much discomfort but always some.

A year after that now i decided to do whatever is necessary to help myself and try to get out of this mess, i read as much as i could tried to calm myself down with meditation, and it worked, it really helped me find some relief during those stressfull times when i devloped more symptoms of tms, i started psychotherapy, bought few books, reading all i can, m working on myself every day and i can say that it yielded results, i feel a lot better now with TMS stabilized and, there are now only tinglings in limbs compared to variety of symptoms before, i generally feel lot better and healthier, i got new job, things are starting to get better for sure.

But there is still almost always some discomfort and somehow i ll need to do something else to get my self out of this, tms just wont let me go, i m wondering, are there other people who had these symptoms, and did they improve? What did it take to do to improve?

Regards

Hello! I also had a kind of transition period, between big pain and discomfort. I had therapy also, which helped a lot. Have you looked at thes sites: www.mindbodymedicine.com, or www.runningpain.com
These sites were helpful to me. I have also had great relief from constant worry and negative thoughts from The Power of Now, by
Eckhart Tolle. His insights were practical, and stopped a lot of problems I had with work, family, etc. that were always on my mind.
His books are not tms books, but i have found them helpful.
His website is: www.EckharTolle.com Cheers!
