 Dealing with the "Repressed Anger"

I am a strong believed in Dr. Sarno and am in the process of recovering from pain and symptoms that have really messed up my life in many aspects. I have ran into a few people on this site that seemed to have been helped by Sarno, however they still have problems with dealing with their emotions, and seem to be a little confused on where to go. I had this problem intitially, I felt I was thinking more emotionally about my anger, but I didn't really know how.

Although Sarno does suggest that some patients will need psychotherapy, and in fact he suggests it by saying to think
about your life and problems in it. However, I do think it
would add and complete any confusing if he personally
reccomended another book on anger, or if he included
a chapter about how to work on your emotions so that you
LEARN how to not repress emotions, I am curious if everone
else thinks this would be a helpful asset to his therapy
or no?

Psychotherapy changed my whole life and taught me how to deal with the anger (that i didn't even know I had!) and how to be a better happier person in general.

Not to mention that i have been pain free for almost 20 years after having read and then gone to Dr. Sarno.

I never did any journaling. All that did for me was make me madder with only myself to reread it and try to help me!

I needed someone besides myself to help me clear up things.

I read no other self help books, and only did therapy. And it helped me more than I could ever say.

Yes I still have my share of crap to deal with, but my ways of dealing with it has changed. Totally. No book I read that didn't know the real me could have done what a good shrink did. Even if it was recommended by Dr. Sarno...who I credit with changing my whole life along with my therapist!
