Can pain in the deltoid muscle on one side be a manifestation of TMS? I am working on ridding myself of RSI and have developed a pain in my right deltoid. A doctor examined the area and said there is nothing wrong so I am thinking TMS just picked a new spot to make trouble. |

I had severe pain in my deltoid, neck, after my mother was hospitalized. This was after being pain free of back pain for 1 year. The mind is clever, it knows your weaknesses. Laugh at it, if you can. you are stronger than your mind. |

Thanks. I think your reassurance that it is just my mind will help a great deal. It came when I first found out I had so called RSI. I switched mice and attributed it to that. No that I am aware of TMS I know better. I find the worst part of TMS is not the pain one already has, but the fact that as soon as you let your mental guard down, TMS can pop up in some new spot. I think one has to view this like a game of chess with one's own head. |
