Hi everyone.
I received this letter from my chiro whom I haven't seen in about 3 years. I especially like the bit at the end. the buy 3 get 1 free bit. I replied telling exactly what I think of him . The reply is in the next message under the same subject. The bold bits in this message are my own remarks.
Dear Mala
How are you? Are you in pain? We have some appointment times
available this week, so if you want a session please email us back to
book. (you ae emailing me about an appt.after 3 years?)
I am emailing you to ask about your health and also to tell you about
some exciting changes in my practice. If you do not wish to receive
email from me, please click reply with no message and I will not
email you again.
I know you are busy, so here s the short version of this email:
1. I have a new practioner in my centre, called M.
What does this mean for you?
* You can get an appointment more quickly.
* You get the same results as you did with me.
* Sessions with M last 30 minutes.
* Sessions with M are still only $500.
2. I am ready to grow my practice worldwide.
Are you one of the following?
* Someone who wants to contribute financially to heal back pain on
the planet (Ah! Now I know the reason for the email)
* Someone who wants to heal by training as a practitioner

Now here's the longer version.
First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for
giving me the joy of looking after you over the years.
You may have noticed some changes in the way we are doing things here
in the office. I want to apologise that we have not put you fully in
the picture and we may have offended you. If that is the case, I am
truly truly sorry. So permit me to tell you what's going on and what
this means to you.
I have always had the dream of healing the world. That dream is now a
step nearer. Through luck and hard work over 14 years, I have
developed my own system of back pain relief. I call it XXXXX.
My system evolved out of chiropractic, but it is different. With the
system I heal the root cause of back pain which is
excessive muscle tension.
Chiropractors do not address muscle tension, nor do osteopaths,
physiotherapists, massage therapists or anyone else in the field of
back pain relief.
This is why I am able to help you in ways other back pain therapists
cannot. This is why I can give pain relief where others cannot, and
why the results you get with me last longer and are more effective.
I am excited to announce that I have now taught my system to someone
else.
His name is M and he knows how
to treat people the way I do and he gets the same results as I do.

So, M is trained, he's getting people out of pain just like I
do and he's available now. Not only that, he has decided that he

M works the same hours as myself.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10-2, 3-6
Tuesday, Thursday: 3-6

taught, I am ready to take my system global.

people with chronic back pain today who have no effective solution
available so there is plenty of work to do.(yeah & plenty of money to make)

Dear W ,
Thank you for your email and for remembering me after such a long time.
Do I want to make an appointment to see you or your new partner who is just like you? Now let me think. Do I want to go see someone who is difficult to get hold of to make an appointment with, who gives you 15 mins for $500.00 and is likely to make you wait, who doesn't want to talk to his patients coz he's got people waiting outside impatiently, who pummels you with this machine and makes you scream and does NO follow up with his patients. Mmm that's a difficult one to answer. Let me think again. Now let me ask you if you would go to someone like that and I guess the answer is fairly obvious. It is a big resounding NO !

Actually W there is a very effective solution . There is a wonderful doctor called Dr. John Sarno. He has written 3 books about TMS Tension Myositis Syndrome. I won't tell you what they are called. If you are interested and smart enough you can get all the info you want from the net. He's in New York. People get better by reading his books and there is a wonderful video which is the actual treatment. You can go to the tms forum and read what others have posted about tms.

You know this guy has been in the back business for nearly 40 years maybe more. If you call him up, he will actually tell you not to visit him just read his books. He really wants to help people W.
W, You forget that many people who visit you actually have a brain yet you tend to talk to them as if they were idiots. I know what myo means . In fact I knew it before I met you. In fact I know almost as much if not more about my back than you do. Great things computers are . What you are doing is neither new nor exciting. In fact it is old news. It's just another gimmick. You see W when people are desperate they'll try anything. Thing is that if you are like most doctors, you assume that when a patient doesn't return he or she has been healed. What you haven't done is reasearch into how many of these people did you really successfully treat and how many are still looking for relief.
Anyway, thank you for your email. If you want to know more about a real pioneer in back pain who doesn't care about fame, name or monetary gain and really wants to help poeple I suggest you find out more abot Dr. John Sarno

Too bad that (cyropractors)get confused with the word Doctor.Many people falsely think that they are Doctors.Doctors of money making nonsense.They would not have a prayer of passing a medical exam,as their trainning consists of sales for profit.Years ago when the Government allowed them to us the term Doctor,the AMA tried to discredit them,even offered to debate them on medical issues. They would not do so,because it would have ruined their fake nonsense,exposed them for what they are!Better off wearing garlic around your neck! Paul. |

Calvin ,it will be very interesting indeed to see how he responds if he does at all.
Paul, what you wrote has reminded me of another incident involving a chiro. A friend of mine has Hodgkins (a form of lymph cancer). She refuses to take conventional treatment and is following the alternative medicine route. She has tried everything and any treatment she has brings only temporary relief.
She has now met a chiro who promises that it's all a matter of correct alignment and that he is sure he can help so she has put her faith in him and is seeing him regularly.
A chiro trying to cure cancer? Can he walk on water too?

You go girl! You made my morning. I love what you wrote back to that idiot. I could not have written a better letter myself. The sad thing is, there are probably thousands of idiots just like him out there doing the same thing. Thank God for Sarno.

Hi Laura,
Thanks for you message. I feel good writing him that letter and I am really looking forward to getting a reply from him but I'm not holding my breath. I don't think he'll bother really. I'm of no value or importance to him whatsoever. I'm not likely ever to go see him again nor I am stupid enough to invest in the expansion of his business but it was good to get all that stuff off my chest.
I have been reading your messages. Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling all that well. I really hope that you can quickly resolve the issues that are plaging you and finally reach a point in your life where you can put this all behind you and get on with life.

Well, it's been nearly a week since I sent the guy the email and so far nothing - so I can presume that he isn't going to reply. I know that the chance that he might reply was pretty slim anyway but I was hoping that he might try to defend or explain himself or ...just tell me to go to hell. (what fun then)
I wonder if he did visit this website to have a look.....
