I wanted to share with all of my TMS friends that I have recently received news that Dr. Sarno passed away yesterday. Today would have been his 94th birthday.
Dr. Sarno was a true hero. A visionary who helped so many of us to get our lives back. He will truly be missed.
At times like these, words begin to fail you, but I wanted you all to know.
In this difficult time, if anyone would like to write a memorial post, I will be posting tributes at www.thankyoudrsarno.org. To submit your tribute, email it to thankyoudrsarno (at) tmswiki.org .

What a man! What a contribution to humanity! I will forever be grateful for
what Dr Sarno has done for me personally.
Now its our job to forward his message. A tall task indeed. It's at first
hard to believer that repressed emotion, most importantly rage, is
responsible for so much suffering but he is 100% correct on that one. |

I think Dr. Sarno deserved a Nobel prize, I am more and more convinced about the truth of the TMS theory as time goes on. Hopefully there are other doctors carrying the torch.

Appears you have some anger issues. Hard to respond to someone who only knows how to use swear words in a sentence. Sarno was not God almighty and thus he was wrong about many things. Let's not deify him now that he is gone. TMS is not a religion.

You may consider the fact that Sarno relied heavily on Freud for his psychological analysis even though Freud was pretty much a crackpot and a fraud.

I think he's letting you hang out here as long as you like to continue making an ass of yourself. Here's an idea for you--you could always STOP POSTING and accomplish the same thing--but maybe you're OCD--read your Sarno Shawn--he could fix that for you--he cured Howard Stern of it. |
