I've been working on TMS for about 5 weeks now with books and journaling but am not sure if it's working yet. I wondered if any of you who have had success could talk about how you/when you knew it was working. Did you have any obvious physical sensations during recovery? Or did the pain just slowly dissipate? While focusing on my emotional issues, journaling, or reading about TMS, I have sometimes felt kind of a cool feeling in some affected muscles or in my fingers or toes. It's almost as is someone has rubbed ben gay on these areas and I feel a kind of menthol coolness. However, the feeling doesn't necessarily translate into pain reduction or the relaxation of muscles/tissues. And I haven't felt significant or any kind of long-lasting relief from the pain. Am frustrated and thought it would give me hope to know the specifics of what others have felt physically, if anything, as they progressed.

Matthew,
I look forward to reading it. However, the link that you provided doesn't lead to the story in question.

Jane,

I am not sure if this will help, but I am a long term patient. Please read my story @ http://tmswiki.wetpaint.com/account/MatthewNJ. Then post again here or Email me.
